Saturday In the woods and by the ocean.

I managed to talked my way into going to the woods and to the beach rather than going to Chucky Cheese (germ central). Little boy really needs to run around and dig in dirt so he doesn't drive us all crazy in our small apartment. This is little baby's first visit into nature. We all buntled up and headed out to Long Island. It always amazes me that we are only 30 min away from the beach.

Nursing by the ocean at 40 degree temperature wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Everyone should try that sometime. It's quite nippy!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to Maplewood, NJ to day to made an offer for a home we wanted a year ago Thanksgiving weekend.

We originally set out to make an offer on another home that's available right now but we ended up walking away from it when I took a closer look. I just didn't feel the connection. So here we are back to where we started on the same house. We are now just waiting for the sellers to accept our offer. fingers crossed!

For now, I'm enjoying this little baby turkey.

It's been ages since I blogged. Life has taken over me for since I got pregnant with my new baby. Now that he's here and even though I'm home everyday, I still don't have enough time to make things or blog.

As of today, we are one more step closer to my Jersey dreams. The buyer for our apartment has gotten her commitment letter and that means we will soon make the offer for the house we want in Maplewood, New Jersey. And if all goes well, my mother in law will be moving in with us for 5 to 6 months to take care of little boy #1 before and after school and little boy #2 will go to day care full time until we get settle. I shall return to work in January. I've been home since the end of September. I almost don't want to leave my boys. It's so nice to be able to spend time with my new baby. With little boy #1, I only had six weeks at home but this time, I have over 14 weeks with my little baby.

Today my grandma spent a day here with baby and me. It was a wonderful relaxed day with tea, cookies, cooking shows, talks of sewing and knitting. We didn't actually make anything. Little boy #1 was so happy to see after school. Tomorrow, we will prepare our turkey, bake our pies and welcome my mother in law visit for Thanks Giving. Until then, I hope I get at least 5 hours of sleep tonight.

Saturday!

So I decided to do the laundry on Friday so no one would be stressed out because mommy has to do the laundry. Laundry in this NY house hold is just gong down to the building basement, put money on you laundry card and wash away. But since my brain have not gotten proper sleep in the past 6 weeks, pretty much since my water broke, laundry was full of i forgot cash, then lost card, then forgot stroller and on and on and on. I was going up and down the elevator. My brain is so shot that I even forgot to do health insurance enrollment at work, thank God, if you forget, it just defaults but since, I miss the dead line, we got no vision plan now. Anyhow, hubby tells me not to beat myself up for it when I woke him up at 4 in the morning.

I finally got the midwife's approval to exercise again. I took 2 hours out this afternoon, left the hubby with the boys and gone for a work out. Boy, did it feel good. It really took the edge off for me. I was so tense, short fused and mean from lack of sleep. That 30min cardio sure got my blood and adrenalin flowing. Hopefully, it would help me get back into my pants again by January when I have to go back to work. I just have to go easy on the sweets. Hubby took little boy to the movies to see Madagascar, my goal is not to lift a finger to do any house work and so far, so good.

Jersey Dreams

Hubby and I have been researching and visiting Maplewood, New Jersey for awhile. We want to bring out sons to the suburbs so the can be raised in a house with a backyard, you know, the American dream. Our apartment in Queens has been on the market since before I was pregnant with my baby. It's been 11 months and I think we finally got a real buyer. Thank God! We are getting closer to closing the deal. Fingers crossed. So in the next few weeks, we'll be looking in Maplewood again for a home that's meant for us. I am so very excited and I hope everything works out for the best!

Yes we can! Yes we did it!

We are over joy with our new president elect Barack Obama!
