Hello...weekend.
2008 has been kicking our asses good! It also has been an incredibly fruitful one. It's been extremely challenging in many aspects but the good is so good. I'm so thankful for my new baby Miles. He's been such a joy even though he's a very light sleeper. How could I not give up sleep for this precious little one but at 3a.m. I do question my sanity. I am thankful for Tai's new school! I LOVE SB! Every time I hear him talk about his school and the thing's he's doing at school, the goosebumps on my arms would come up and I feel so lucky that we moved out of Queens.
So much is going on and life just keep filing up around here. There is so little time in a day so I'm making the most of it.
We are praying for a very dear love one's health and thinking about her through out our days.
We spent Thanksgiving in Baltimore with family. I only took a few pictures while we were down there. This is my favorite one.

Grandma fixing up Tai's big hair.

Still working on Tai's green sweater on the train everyday.

Baking pumpkin bread with chocolate chips to fill my lonely heart.

Sharpening up my color pencils for some drawings to come. Happy weekend!

Weekend

It's been a pretty emotionally packed couple of weeks. Life keep stacking up around us. It's quite overwhelming at times. We went to Baltimore last weekend to visit my mother in law and we are heading back to Baltimore on Thanksgiving day.
I have this weekend to stay home and play with my kids, do chores, grocery shopping and work-out. Breastfed the baby 8 times today total. We started out day with one broken glass in the bedroom and ended our day with 2 broken wine glasses, two of which my husband shattered into tiny pieces and red wine. All over toys and blocks and all over the dinning room. Let's just say, he was not a very happy. We found out the dog pee on the rug in the basement but the hubby is not going to clean that up until tomorrow. There's just enough cleaning for the day.
Here is some sweater progress I want to share. I finished the front of Tai's sweater and now working on the back. I think I'm ready for sleeves very soon. In the back ground there are my plumeria and my string bean plant in my bedroom. We'll see if we can harvest from the window sill.

November Weekend
We had a very very full weekend. I cleaned the house and washed a whole lot of clothes and for the first time in our lives, we have a backyard full of leaves. Hubby had a racking and jumping party with the boys while I was at the gym. We ended our Sunday night with close friends, a fire, cakes and roasted marsh mellow.

Evenings...

This is what late afternoon look like when I get off the train in New Jersey and walk to my car.
Two stops to make to pick up my babes. Breast feeding, planning for dinners and the homework. Always trying to figure out which one should come first then comes the baths, the baby vitamins, the teeth brushing, the stories and then finally bed time. Second round begins with the dishes and the house cleaning. My days and nights are full and my mind is occupied with other matters...
So my girlfriend tells me to chant this to myself "no one can control your inner life, your inner thoughts, your inner mind, how you think and view the world."
As I drift in and out of sleep with at least 2 to 3 interruptions...and I start my day all over again.

I was bitten by the knitting bug...
and because of it, my needles have been flying on the New Jersey Transit and also at home after 9p.m. Oh yes, I'm determined to finish this sweater in the next three weeks and then I think I need some leg warmers. So dirty dishes must be loaded in the dish washer by a certain time. Mommy has to knit! I have an idea what I am going to design on the front of the sweater and on the sleeves. Tai's only request was for it to be green and a hoodie and I want to make some cables on this sweater. It should be fun!
Car has been fixed! We are in business of dropping children off at day care and school again. Hubby's fever is gone and he is up and about. Thank God for all that.
Here is a couple of pictures on sweater progress and Tai's pumpkin face design. We are carving our pumpkins on Thursday and that's the plan!

Weekend...
So we spend our weekend at home with our car broken down and in the repair shop. I was on my way to the gym and engine light came on and the car started to choke. I turned around and thank God I made it home. Guardian Angel is always with me. I felt it! Hubby's been having a fever all weekend. Poor guy! He's had a tough month with broken foot back pain and now fever.
I can't tell you how thankful that I made it home and didn't get stuck on the road!!!!!! I do feel bad Tai missed soccer two weeks in a row. I had to work last Saturday and hubby's in too much back pain to take him with the baby.
All is good! We spend all weekend home. We have food in the house and plenty of Tylenol, although we only had 3 eggs left. I used 1 for pancake and I scrambled the other 2 with milk and cheese to make more out of the eggs. Ha ha and it worked! We all had eggs for breakfast! I even got Tai's new sweater started. He wanted a green sweater with a hoodie. That was his only request. Little guy also completed his book of 26 pages. All drawings of Star Wars. He basically retold the story. Whatever makes the boy use drawing and writing utensils. He was so proud!
I'm off to bed and hoping the car will be ready tomorrow and won't cost us too much money to repair.
